Post Production Supervisor Responsibilities


  • Establishes the Post schedule and supervises its follow through
  • Technical organizer and supervisor of all previews and screenings
  • Technical organizer and supervisor of all mixing processes (temp dubs, predubs and final dubs)
  • Supervises a team of editorial staff and supports their technical needs
  • Consultant and advisor of the post production processes to Editors
  • Handles all requests for Music Composers and Sound Efx Designers as well as tracking and managing their delivery schedule
  • Services BVI Senior Executives (BVI Distribution, BVI Marketing, BVI sales) and responds to their requests for domestic and international releases, while establishing and supervising delivery schedules with outside vendors (Deluxe Lab, Sound Stages, Dolby, Rental houses, Sound Designing houses) 
  • Works with VP of Post Production in strategizing Editorial staffing needs 
  • Establishes Post budgets for short films and TV titles, as well as supports VP of 
  • Post managing Post Production budgets for Feature shows 
Required qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Post Production Coordinator on Feature Films or/and experience in Supervising Editorial in Animation 
  • Strong communication and organization skills 
  • Ability to lead a team 
  • Technical knowledge of editorial pipelines 
Desired qualifications:
  • Technical knowledge of animation pipelines years of experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Film Production and/or Post Production
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a Supervisor role leading teams
  • College degree or equivalent preferred 
Computer Knowledge:
  • Proficient with Macintosh, Microsoft Word, Excel, Calendar Maker
